Hi there, I'm Kasia,

the person behind viem—a creative freelance practice, as I like to call it, since I work on a variety of creative projects. But my heart truly belongs to what’s called conscious styling. Think of me as a personal stylist who helps you organize your closet and make the most of what you already have. I also do the same with interiors, helping you refresh and arrange spaces more efficiently with a focus on what’s already yours.

My goal is to help you reconnect with what you already own—whether that’s in your closet or your home—by styling each piece in a way that feels fresh, authentic, and uniquely you. And once we’re done, we can capture it all in a photoshoot—as a keepsake or to share your story. 🫶

Let me tell you something upfront—I’m a maximalist at heart. I love bold prints, statement pieces, and outfits that turn heads. For the longest time, I thought capsule wardrobes were just about neutral colors, minimalist styles, and giving up the fun in fashion. But I’ve learned that’s not the case. You don’t have to give up your love of standout looks to embrace a more sustainable and conscious approach.

Here’s Why It Works, Even for Maximalists Like Me

1. Creativity Over Quantity

When you have a capsule wardrobe, it’s not about limiting yourself to bland basics. Instead, it pushes you to get really creative with the pieces you have. By choosing versatile staples that work with your statement items, you can mix and match in ways that feel fresh and uniquely you.

2. Statement Pieces Still Shine

Capsule wardrobes don’t mean saying goodbye to bold outfits. Instead, it’s about finding the balance. You choose a few well-made basics that let your statement pieces truly stand out. That bright patterned blazer? Pair it with a classic white tee and tailored trousers, and it becomes the star of your look.

3. Conscious Doesn’t Mean Minimal

Sustainable fashion isn’t about toning down your personality; it’s about making smarter, more thoughtful choices. You can still have those eye-catching pieces you love, but now you’re choosing quality over fast fashion, and pairing them with essentials that work with your wardrobe, not against it.

4. Fewer Items, More Impact

I used to think that having a closet packed with clothes was the key to having endless options. Spoiler: it’s not. With a capsule wardrobe, every piece pulls its weight, whether it’s a bold printed dress or the perfectly cut jeans that go with everything. You’ll feel like you have more to wear, not less.

Why It’s Worth It for Me

Switching to a conscious capsule wardrobe didn’t mean giving up my bold, maximalist style. It just meant I had to get smarter about my choices. I started focusing on statement pieces I truly loved and basics that complemented them perfectly. Now, every piece in my closet feels intentional—and I feel good knowing my choices are better for the planet.

So, if you’re a fellow maximalist worried that a capsule wardrobe means stripping your style down to beige and black—don’t be. It’s not about losing your personality; it’s about refining it and making it more impactful.

Trust me, you can have a conscious, stylish wardrobe that’s as bold, colorful, or creative as you are. It’s just about being intentional and letting your best pieces (and self) shine.
